A Successful Start to the 2024-2025 School Year

We’re thrilled to share that our first week back at Educational Pathways Academy, a private school for dyslexia and learning disabilities in Florida, was a great success! It was a pleasure to welcome our students and see the hallways come alive with their energy and enthusiasm. Students were excited to reconnect with friends and share stories about their summer adventures.

First Day of School, at Educational Pathways Academy, a Private School, for Dyslexia, and Learning Disabilities, in Florida

The first day was all about easing into the new school year with fun activities that helped students get to know one another better. From fun facts to icebreaker games, our students had a blast making new friends and getting reacquainted with old ones. Students learned about classroom rules and etiquette, setting the stage for a successful journey of learning and growth. They also enjoyed some outdoor fun, bonding with friends.

As the week progressed, the excitement only grew. Classrooms buzzed with energy as students dove into their subjects, engaged in hands-on activities, and began setting goals for the year. Our teachers have gone above and beyond to create a supportive and inspiring environment where every student can thrive. Each day built upon the previous, fostering a love of learning and a sense of community.

To wrap up the week, our Doris Frey Campus students participated in a meaningful activity designed to help them focus on personal growth. Each student chose a word to guide them through the school year—a word that represents a goal, value, or something that speaks to their heart. After exploring different words as a class, students selected one that resonated with them personally. They then created a bracelet featuring their chosen word, serving as a daily reminder of their focus and intentions. Words like kindness, brave, grow, strong, thankful, and Jesus were among the inspiring choices.

We’re so excited to see how these words will shape and inspire our students throughout the year. Here’s to a year of growth, learning, and making a positive impact! We can’t wait to see all that our students will achieve as they continue to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
