Back-to-School Bash Creates Memorable Start to 2024-2025 School Year

With the first day of school just around the corner, Educational Pathways Academy (EPA), a private school for dyslexia and learning disabilities in Florida, celebrated the end of the summer and the beginning of a new academic year with a Hip Hop Hooray: Back-to-School Bash! The event was a resounding success, bringing together students, families, teachers, and staff for an evening filled with joy, community spirit, and anticipation for the year ahead.

The evening's main event was a high-energy hip-hop dance session led by an instructor from Blue Zones. Participants of all ages joined in, enjoying the music and the opportunity to move and have fun together.

But the fun didn’t stop there. Families engaged in a variety of activities, each offering something different to spark creativity and bring people together. The graffiti chalk wall encouraged families to "make their mark this year," inviting everyone to leave a personal touch on the event. The Creative Corner featured Legos, drawing supplies, and jewelry-making materials, providing plenty of opportunities for hands-on fun. For those seeking more active engagement, there were games such as ping pong, air hockey, and basketball, along with time spent playing on the playground.

Food also played a starring role at the event. Dave’s Neapolitan Pizza food truck served up delicious pizzas, keeping everyone fueled throughout the evening. In addition, there was an ice cream sundae bar that allowed everyone to customize their treats with a variety of toppings. All food and drinks were complimentary, making it easy for families to relax and enjoy their time together.

We want to thank EPA’s Parent Association volunteers for their support and generosity, which made a significant impact on the event’s success. Their dedication and effort were crucial in creating a memorable experience for everyone. We also extend our gratitude to Blue Zones for their engaging dance class, which added a special touch to the evening.

As we look forward to the start of the school year, the Back-to-School Bash has helped set a positive and welcoming tone for the year ahead. We’re grateful for the time spent together and look forward to building on the connections made at the event as we embark on our 2024-2025 academic journey!
