Hope for Students with Learning Disabilities | Testimonial

As shared by Sarah’s Family

As Sarah transitioned into 7th grade in Texas, we hit a major wall. Sarah's learning disabilities were causing major problems for her academically. Feeling like a failure every day, she would come home and have meltdowns for hours. We hired tutors, worked with her teachers, and came up with countless plans – nothing worked. Her days were so difficult, and our family life was being destroyed as well. We were at the end of our rope and had no idea how to help her.

In researching options online, we came across the website for Educational Pathways Academy (EPA), a school for learning disabilities in Florida. We read the research, we watched the videos, and we were given hope. Even if it meant moving across the country, we had hope there might be a place for our Sarah. We came for a visit; Molly Arthur seemed to understand her, and us, so well. We immediately felt at home. So, we made the move from Texas to Florida.

The change we have seen in Sarah is unfathomable. She is no longer at war within herself. She is not angry or anxious. She is hopeful, at peace, experiencing success, and being celebrated in her new school. EPA is changing the lives of students and their families. We pour out our hearts in thanksgiving for the love, compassion, encouragement, and support EPA provides.
