1)  When did Educational Pathways Academy (EPA) open?

Educational Pathways Academy was founded by Molly Arthur in August 2017. 

2)  Where is EPA located?

Educational Pathways Academy is located in Southwest, Florida. It has two locations in Naples, Florida & Estero, Florida.

  • North Campus is located at 23601 North Commons Drive, Estero, FL 34134.

  • Doris Frey Campus (South) is located at 1351 Pine Street, Naples, FL 34104.

3) What students does EPA serve?

EPA is committed to accepting and serving students whose profiles align with our purpose as a school for students with learning disabilities.

Students at Educational Pathways Academy typically possess average to above-average intelligence, have struggled in school in various ways, and may or may not have a formal diagnosis (yet the hallmarks of a learning disability are present in data). Their profiles may include diagnostic labels such as a receptive/expressive language disorder, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, executive dysfunction, auditory processing disorder, attention deficit disorder, or some combination of these. Some students may even be considered twice exceptional.

4)  What grade levels does EPA have?

Educational Pathways Academy serves students grades 1-12th.

  • North Campus (Estero, FL) serves grades 3-12th.

  • South - Frey Campus (Naples, FL) serves grades 1-8th.

5)  Does EPA offer financial aid or scholarships?

Yes, Educational Pathways Academy accepts the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC), Family Empowerment Scholarship for students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA), & Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO). Learn More.

Yes, EPA’s academic calendar is similar to that set forth by Collier County Public Schools, with some differences.

7)  Are the teachers at EPA Florida State Certified?

Yes, all instructional personnel at EPA are required to hold a valid Florida State Teacher Certification.  

8)  Is EPA a private school?

Yes, EPA is a private school registered with the Florida Department of Education.
