Student at Educational Pathways Academy, school for learning disabilities, dyslexia, in Florida, parent testimonial

As shared by Eva’s Family

Eva came to Educational Pathways Academy (EPA), a school for learning disabilities in Florida, two years ago. We had been very protective of Eva for many years and vowed to be her advocates as we navigated public school. Even though we encountered many wonderful people on her journey, there was always a feeling that she hadn't found the home she needed academically -- until EPA.

Since joining EPA, it's like the love of learning and light in her eyes has come back! She bounces out of the car every morning to eagerly speed walk into school. And each afternoon when she gets back in the car, there is a confident smile on her face. Finally, she feels she belongs.

EPA has given her a chance to grow and mature in a safe place. She can navigate hard phases -- like teenage years and middle school -- in a place that loves and accepts her. EPA has given my husband and I the ability to take a breath, and know she is right where she belongs. That peace of mind and comfort is priceless. We couldn't ask for anything more.

The teachers at EPA have become like family to us. Not only do the teachers help Eva to learn (in her own way, at her pace), but they also love her and all she cares about. We see the confidence and self-esteem being at EPA has created. It has impacted so many areas of Eva's life. I don't think 'thank you' will ever be enough to express to the teachers and staff the profound difference they have made in Eva and our family's life.

We will be forever grateful.
