Dyslexia School Starts Scholarship Fund for Families in Financial Need
At Educational Pathways Academy (EPA), we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive academically, regardless of their background or financial circumstances. Recognizing the financial challenges that many families face, EPA has taken a bold step to ensure that no child is denied the transformative experience of our school due to financial constraints. This year, Educational Pathways Academy will provide $128,600 in Tuition Assistance to students and their families who desperately need the specialized services and expertise of our school, but don't have the financial means to attend.
Our first-ever Blessings Scholarship Fund has been established to formally support these students —- and even more students in the future, giving them the opportunity of a lifetime for literacy, individualized education and innovative programming for language-based learning disabilities like dyslexia.
The launch of the Blessings Scholarship Fund took place at the Farmer Mike's U Pick Fall Festival in Bonita Springs, Florida on November 4, 2023. This festive occasion served as the perfect backdrop to express gratituded for EPA, as well as unveil the scholarship program, with approximately 150 EPA students and their families joining in the celebration.
The occasion proved to be a resounding success, not just in terms of fundraising but also in building a stronger sense of community within the EPA family. Through the generosity of our EPA community, the event raised $1,095 for the Blessings Scholarship Fund.
Parents connected and joy was seen on each student’s face as they played together. It was a time of unity and purpose that reminded us all of the transformative power that education can have when it meets students’ needs.
