Meet the Director: Molly Arthur
Molly started Educational Pathways, Inc. in 2015, a private tutoring company through which she served the needs of many students who struggle academically. She has recently led a team in the development of Educational Pathways Academy, which opened in August of 2017. EPA is a private, Christian school registered through the Florida Department of Education as meeting all compliance standards and is qualified as a provider of all state scholarships. Through the launching of EPA, it is Molly's desire that the needs of more students with learning differences can be met.
Educational Pathways Academy is founded and directed by Molly Arthur who has 24 years of teaching and administrative experience in public and private schools. Molly holds a degree in Specific Learning Disabilities from the University of South Florida and has years of experience in various areas of special and mainstream education in both private and public schools. Molly’s vast teaching experience has exposed her to the significant struggle with reading, writing, and spelling that affects approximately twenty percent of students. These students struggle despite having high intelligence, motivation, and a quality education. This ignited a passion in her to seek additional knowledge and training in learning disabilities and in the field of Dyslexia.
In addition to being a Florida State Certified teacher in Elementary Education and Specific Learning Disabilities, Molly is a Certified Dyslexia Specialist. Her professional affiliations include the International Dyslexia Association, Learning Disabilities Association of America, and the Dyslexia Foundation.
