Dear Prospective Parent,

In 2015, after 22 years of classroom teaching and administrative experience, I started Educational Pathways, a private tutoring company through which I addressed the needs of students with a primary diagnosis of dyslexia and other learning differences.  Through this role, I was able to serve only a limited number of students.  I’m excited that through the opening of  Educational Pathways Academy on August 16, 2017, I am now able to offer a comprehensive academic program to many more students.  My staff of highly trained educators  join me in our mission to educate, equip, and empower students with learning differences.

Over and over again I hear parents describe their child as smart, creative, and inquisitive but failing to meet classroom academic expectations.  Students are frustrated.  Self-esteem is plummeting.  Deficits are being put on display and strengths go unnoticed and uncultivated.  Entire families are affected greatly.

This scenario is far more common than you might think. In fact, one in five individuals (nearly 20% of the population) have a language-based learning difference commonly referred to as dyslexia. These bright students who have dyslexia struggle to keep up in traditional schooling settings. This can result in discouragement, falling grades, and increased frustration during a child’s critical formative years.

If your child is not meeting his or her potential due to struggles with reading, spelling, writing, and sometimes math, Educational Pathways Academy’s innovative program can offer hope in understanding dyslexia, remediating weak areas, and transforming students with language-based learning differences into confident, capable learners who are defined by their strengths, not their struggles.

At Educational Pathways Academy we seek to know your child as an individual learner, strengthen weaknesses, and magnify strengths. Please contact me at arthur@educationalpathwaysacademy.com    to schedule a private meeting to discuss your student's needs and the possibility of him/her being enrolled in Educational Pathways Academy!

Sincerely,

Molly Arthur
